Now that Spring is here ..OK - Only 3 more days!
it's time to get your run on and head out the door. Now that it stays lighter longer and the weather warms up you need to make sure you are ready when you head out that door!

Weather is unpredictable so dress accordingly and in layers if necessary. Water proof gear comes in handy too for those spring showers
Hydrate Don't forget your water to stay hydrated   Even if the temp only increase 5-10 degrees it  can significantly increase our fluid needs.
Check you gear! Are your running shoes in good shape? You should replace every 300 - 500 miles depending on your  your running style , your weight, your style and other individual factors Don't forget to invest in some new wick away running socks or a moisture wicking cap or a high quality performance Expert tee
Start out Slow! If it has been a while take it slowly to reduce your chance of injury. The general rule about increasing mileage is that you should increase by no more than 10-percent each week.Set a realistic goal that you know you can achieve  Don’t worry about your pace for the first few weeks. Let your body adapt to the increased demands you are placing on it.
